FA Cup Football - Leeds vs. Spurs
February 3rd, 2010 by Bob
Giant killers Leeds United are back in FA Cup action this evening - in their FA cup replay against Spurs.
Can Simon Grayson’s Leeds United overcome the odds to knock another big name out of the cup?
After defeating Manchester United in the last round Leeds fans will think so and with 30 thousand Mighty White fans packed into Elland road they might have that vital 12th man to see them through.
It will be a tough game for League One Leeds though - Tottenham are flying high in the Premier League top 4 and Leeds are a massive 42 places lower in the League (currently 2nd in League One). No matter how well Leeds are playing at the moment, the gulf in quality will be evident for all to see.
Leeds do perform well at home and I expect them to give Tottenham a game this evening. Unbeaten at home in the league this season Leeds will be hard to break and they will be looking for another shock victory.
Victor Chandler are offering odds of 10/3 on a Leeds victory; so a £10 bet will return £43. These are tempting odds but my money is on Spurs to put Leeds FA dreams to bed at odds of 5/6.

Leeds were outclassed last night by Premier League Tottenham.
The mighty whites put up a brave fight but they never looked good enough to win this tie - it now leaves them free to concentrate on winning promotion to the Championship.
My £20 bet on Spurs will do me nicely! A tidy £16 profit.
