Premier League Football Preview

It been a great week for English football in the Champions league this week with Arsenal hammering Porto and Man United thrashing AC Milan - it’s back to business now though, with a great line up of Premier League football.

The early kick-off on Saturday is Spurs vs. Blackburn. Tottenham will be looking to keep hold of that coveted top 4 spot today with Man City and Liverpool still chasing at their coat tails

Blackburn will make this difficult but Tottenham should come out on top. Spurs are undefeated at home in last 6 and Blackburn hasn’t won away in 8, so I’m going for a Spurs win.

Birmingham vs. Everton

Both teams are doing well at the moment and are only separated by 2 points in the table, with Birmingham in 8th and Everton close behind in position 9. This will be a close game and could end even-stevens.

Bolton vs. Wigan

Again theirs not much to separate the 2 teams, with Bolton sitting in 14th and Wigan just a place behind. Bolton has done well at home in the last 3 games, keeping 3 clean sheets and Wigan has struggled away. I’m tipping Bolton to nick the 3 points in this one, even after Wigan’s surprise win against Liverpool.

Burnley vs. Wolves

This game should be interesting with both teams fighting against relegation - a definite 6 pointer for both teams. If Burnley are going to survive in the Premier League it is their strong home form that will see them through, as their away form is appalling! It will be a battle today but Burnley may scrape the points.

Chelsea vs. West Ham

After being knocked off the top spot last weekend, Chelsea need 3 points to keep the pressure on United. Chelsea will also be looking to get back onto winning ways at the Bridge after their 1st home defeat of the season to Man City a couple of weeks back.

I’m sure West Ham will put up a brave fight as in all London derbies but I expect Chelsea to win this by a couple of goals.

Stoke vs. Villa

Stoke are having another great season and are sitting comfortably in mid-table. Their home form is yet again is making them a difficult team to beat - Villa will prove a tough test for Stoke though and will make this is difficult game.

Hull vs. Arsenal

What a win for Arsenal midweek! Some of their play was breathtaking and they are surely in a different league to Hull who were hammered 5-1 at Everton last week.

Fabregas is likely to miss today’s game, but Arsenal proved in midweek that they can still play some incredible football without him. Will we see another goal rout today at Hull?

There are also some great football games on Sunday and Monday in the Premier League:

Man Unt vs. Fulham
Sunderland vs. Man City
Liverpool vs. Portsmouth (Monday)

Visit us again tomorrow for a quick preview of these games and lots more.
